Made For This

 

Speedo launched the first Fastskin suit and changed the face of racing. Fast forward to 2019 and the brand was rapidly losing market share. The challenge was to regain hearts and minds ahead of Tokyo 2020, launching the new generation Fastskin suit.

‘Made for this’ embraces every aspect of the young competitive swimmers life, to focus on the human side – on the journey, not just the winning. The swimmer, suit and brand are Made For This. Bringing club swimmers and professional athletes together on Speedo’s social channels and harnessing the athletes influence in a relevant way. The British Championships saw billboards featuring club swimmers alongside top athletes, inspiring the next generation of swimmer. The first season, out performed all expectations exceeding sales targets by 700%, ecom sessions increased by 210% and at the world champs 76% of medals were won in Speedo.
